Formal and Documentary Requirements for the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in India<\/h2>\n

Under Section 44-A of the CPC and verdict of any of the Superior Courts of any informed reciprocating jurisdiction is executable as a verdict passed by the local Court. Both if there should be an occurrence of decrees passed by Courts in non-reciprocating and reciprocating regions, the verdict must pass Section 13 of the CPC test, which refers to certain special cases under which the foreign judgment becomes inconclusive and is for that reason, not enforceable or executable in India.<\/p>\n
